The Volkswagen dealer search shows you all the Volkswagen partners located near you at a glance. There you get your Volkswagen DataPlug which is easily plugged into the existing OBD2 interface in the footwell of your car.

As soon as you have plugged the DataPlug into the diagnostic port just connect your car to the smartphone and confirm this step within the app.

What is a VIN?

The vehicle identification number (VIN) is a unique 17-digit code that can be used to identify your vehicle. You can locate your VIN in the vehicle log book, vehicle registration certificate, or in the lower area of your windscreen.
